MBI 200 trailer mounted delivered to Canada
Company Diamantex from Quebec City is now counting on the quality and the flexibility of MOOG.
For the first time the MBI 200 was built as a road gooseneck trailer version, to meet the customer’s requirements. The machine was designed with lower axle loads, conforming to the Quebec’s traffic regulations, because during the dew time period, low axle loads are mandatory in Quebec to avoid damage of the roads.
The Unit has a lowering depth of 10,3m and the platform bears a load of 800kg. As per customer requirement, a hydraulic lift with 6,5m working height has been installed, additionally to the standard scaffold. A platform extension allows horizontal reaches under the bridge of up to 22 m.
Like all MOOG truck-mounted units, the trailer mounted version is self propelled as well and can also be moved and steered along the bridge during the operation.
The road semi-trailer itself is completely manufactured by MOOG GmbH.
