{"id":7486,"date":"2022-09-30T10:17:24","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T08:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.moog-online.com\/?p=7486"},"modified":"2023-04-19T10:30:34","modified_gmt":"2023-04-19T08:30:34","slug":"the-state-of-new-york-expands-its-moog-fleet-with-another-four-mbl-1600-basket-machines-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moog-online.com\/us\/uncategorized-us\/the-state-of-new-york-expands-its-moog-fleet-with-another-four-mbl-1600-basket-machines-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The State of NEW YORK expands its MOOG fleet with another four MBL 1600 basket machines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>MBI 210-2\/S for Theo-s in Germany<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The company Theo-s GmbH, an existing customer of MOOG based in Germany, expanded its MOOG fleet with an MBI 210-2\/S, which was handed over to the customer at the beginning of September 2022 after the training had been completed.<\/p>\n<p>The MBI 210-2\/S under-bridge unit was ordered as semi-trailer and equipped with a number of additional options according to customer requirements:<\/p>\n<p>The entire under-bridge structure can be raised approx. 5 ft. 10 in. using the <strong>extended lifting frame<\/strong>. This makes it possible to cross over even higher sound barriers up to 17 ft. 4 in. Furthermore, an <strong>automatic steering system<\/strong> for 1-man operation was installed and a combined <strong>radio remote control<\/strong> with display was supplied.\u00a0 This creates a certain freedom of movement during the erection\/operation processes and provides a better overview, especially in places that are difficult to see.<\/p>\n<p>The platform is 6 ft. 6 in. wide and, with the help of the <strong>platform extension<\/strong> supplied, can reach horizontal ranges of up to 75 ft. 5 in. under the bridge. Access to the underside of the bridge and into the hollow box girders is achieved by the two included <strong>alplifts<\/strong>, each with a standing height of 19 ft. 8 in., and a <strong>portable scaffolding<\/strong> with a standing height of 6 ft. 6 in. The alplifts can be moved in either the main platform and telescopic platform during use, which saves time and is very convenient for the operating personnel.<\/p>\n<p>With this under-bridge inspection unit, the customer can also use a <strong>pier inspection basket<\/strong> that was supplied for a machine already in the customer\u2019s fleet. The suitable device for using the basket was installed accordingly by MOOG.
