{"id":6883,"date":"2020-07-23T10:04:05","date_gmt":"2020-07-23T08:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.moog-online.com\/?p=6883"},"modified":"2020-07-28T09:28:11","modified_gmt":"2020-07-28T07:28:11","slug":"moog-under-bridge-unit-floats-into-the-mountains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moog-online.com\/us\/uncategorized-us\/moog-under-bridge-unit-floats-into-the-mountains\/","title":{"rendered":"MOOG under-bridge unit floats into the mountains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>MOOG under-bridge unit floats into the mountains<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The company Habegger Transporte AG, an existing customer of MOOG with its company headquarters in Switzerland, has taken some impressive photos of its platform unit a MBI 70 trailer version, which shows the machine attached to a gondola lift.<\/p>\n<p>This was the only way to reach the site in the canton Graub\u00fcnden, the concrete dam of the Albigna reservoir at a height of 7,093 ft. 2 in. Clean green electricity has been produced here since 1959 and sent to Zurich. The 377 ft. 3 in. high and 2,490 ft. 1 in. long concrete dam not only serves to generate power production and protect against flooding for the Bergell valley, but it was precisely here that the construction of the first high-alpine solar plant began at the end of June 2020. In the future, around 3.7 miles of cable will connect 1,200 photovoltaic modules that are to feed solar electricity into the power grid from September.<\/p>\n<p>After the installation of the cable ducts, the construction of the substructure for the solar panels was started. The MOOG under-bridge unit enables easy and safe access to the concrete dam, so that the profiles for the substructure can be attached there.
