Within 2 months two big trailer mounted units were delivered to an existing customer in Denmark:<\/p>\n
One trailer at the end of May and the other one the end of July 2015.<\/p>\n
The MBI 160-1,7\/S has a maximum horizontal range of 52 ft. 6 in. under the bridge, which can be extended by a platform extension up to 59ft. 1 in. The platform width is 5 ft. 7 in. and its payload is 1,760 lbs. According to the customers wishes the machine was equipped with a lifting frame which allows an over-bridging of sound barriers up to 14 ft. 9 in. In addition the rotation frame of this unit can be continuously telescoped so that the maximum over-bridging of sound barriers and crossing of walkways up to 13 ft. 9 in. are possible at the same time.<\/p>\n
The MBI 210-2\/S has a maximum horizontal range of 68 ft. 10 in. under the bridge. The maximum horizontal range of this unit can also be extended by using a 6 ft. 6 in. platform extension. The platform width is 6 ft. 6 in. and its payload is 2,200 lbs. This machine is also equipped with a lifting frame which increases the over-bridging of sound barriers from 12 ft. 1 in. up to 18 ft. 1 in.<\/p>\n
Regarding the optional equipment, the customer decided to order an Alp-lift for each machine with a 19 ft. 8 in. stand height, 2 scaffoldings with 6 ft. 6 in. stand height each, night lights and an automatic driving with an ultrasonic system which allows the Under-Bridge Unit to be operated and moved by only one person located on the platform.<\/p>\n
As per the customer’s request other additional equipment was supplied which can be used for both machines:<\/p>\n
A pier inspection device, with a lowering depth of up to 262 ft. 5 in. This device can be installed as required on either of the above mentioned Under-Bridge Inspection Units, as both machines came prepared for this pier inspection basket.<\/p>\n
