Its total weight of 3 tons is equally distributed on both crawler tracks and the transport height of nearly 2.9 m allows standard transport on a common car trailer.<\/p>\n<p>The MBI 50-1\/SR has a horizontal range under the bridge of 5.0 m and a lowering depth of up to 4.5 m. The platform is 1.0 m wide and can be loaded with max. 300 kg (150 kg on end of platform).<br \/>\nPer the customer\u2019s request the under-bridge unit was also equipped with the special erection function (excavator erection), which enables erection of the unit between e.g. catenaries in railway areas or on truss bridges. With this function the platform can be rotated 90\u00b0 before setting up the tower and can then be placed into the bridge construction.
